Marriott wanted to paint the other side of their courtyard after I completed the first mural. Keeping the oceanside theme, I created a concept inspired by the Art Deco style of simplified vector illustration and flat color. I wanted this piece to feel like the audience was looking out at the San Diego ocean from a distance.
