By 2019 I had painted over 15 murals inside of homes and businesses around Atlanta. I was still fine tuning my style and technique and story. Shortly before receiving the commission for this mural I lost two of my closest friends who were also from College Park. This art piece was inspired by the joy, vibrance, hope, and life I feel people would forget exists here. I wanted to show that beautiful things come from unsuspecting places. I wanted to show how simple shapes and an intentional color palette can actually be super powerful and energy giving for anyone near it. Showing that less can be more.
