The last piece in the Wellspring 20th anniversary series was created live at Home Depot’s first inaugural Juneteenth celebration in the Backyard of the Mercedes Benz stadium. This piece allowed me to tell the story of the women of color who survived trafficking that spent time in community together through a shared form of therapy and expression we all had: music.
